Elections in Kosovo, Enver Hoxhaj PDK candidate for prime minister

The Democratic Party of Kosovo has nominated Enver Hoxhaj as its candidate for the post of Prime Minister.

After the meeting of the leadership of this party, the representative of PDK, Uran Ismajli in a statement to the media that the candidate Hoxhaj, in addition to his long academic career, also has a long institutional and political experience. Enver Hoxhaj has been Deputy Prime Minister in the Government of Ramush Haradinaj and Minister of Foreign Affairs in the Government of Isa Mustafa.

Currently, Hoxhaj holds the post of PDK chairman after Kadri Veseli resigned to face justice at the Special Court in The Hague.

Kosovo will go to early elections, after the Constitutional Court ruled that the vote of the Government of Avdullah Hoti is unconstitutional, because the MP Etem Arifi was voted, who was sentenced to prison.
