Rolando Maran is the new coach of the Albanian national football team. The Italian will take over the red and black team and will lead it until 2028.
The 62-year-old was also a footballer, spending most of his career with Chievo. He later managed Serie B clubs such as Varese, Catania and others.
During Maran's presentation, the President of the Albanian Football Federation, Armando Duka, thanked Sylvinho for what he has done with Albania, but said that his cycle was closed.
"For me it's a moral commitment and I'm excited because I feel this mission very much. I like to have an aggressive team and to make the play. This is my DNA, we want to be the ones who have the game in hand," said Maran.
