32-year-old man in Divjaka was killed over an irrigation canal

The police have issued an official statement regarding the murder recorded late last night in Divjaka. The statement states that during midnight, Besmir Kumria was stabbed in a bar by 25-year-old Xhesion Toromeni.
The perpetrator is reported to have fled the scene and was caught by police a few hours later. He is charged with the criminal offenses of "Premeditated Murder" and "Unlicensed Production and Possession of Cold Weapons." According to police, preliminary investigations into the incident are related to ongoing arguments between the two families of the young men over an irrigation canal.

A citizen was stabbed, who consequently lost his life; after the quick and professional actions of the Police, the suspected perpetrator was identified and arrested. After the murder, the perpetrator fled, but was caught after several hours of pursuit by the operational services of the Fier DVP.
At midnight, the services of the Divjaka Police Commissariat, after receiving a report that in the village of Kryekuq an unidentified citizen had entered a bar and had attacked citizen BK, 32 years old (who was in the company of his friends) with a cutting tool, immediately went to the given address. A special investigative group was set up, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, with the aim of fully clarifying the incident, identifying and capturing the perpetrator.
As a result of the continuous pursuit by the operational forces of the Fier DVP, it was possible to capture and escort to the Police the suspected perpetrator, citizen Xh. T., 25 years old, resident of Kryekuq, who will be arrested for the criminal offenses of "Premeditated Murder" and "Unlicensed Production and Possession of Cold Weapons".
Preliminary investigations suspect that citizen Xh. T. killed citizen BK, as their families had ongoing conflicts over an irrigation canal in the village. Work continues on the full legal documentation of the event.
