The toll from the assassination attempt at the Rinas roundabout is increasing.
After four days in critical condition at the Trauma Hospital, AMP agent, 42-year-old Muçi Shaljani, has passed away.
Shaljani was seriously injured by gunfire on Tuesday, November 11, during the attack near the airport. He was immediately admitted to the intensive care unit, where doctors kept him intubated and in intensive care due to two bullets in the head and other wounds to his body.
Despite the efforts of medical staff, he failed to survive his injuries and died in the early hours of Saturday morning.
