Tirana to host NATO Summit in 2027

Tirana will host the NATO Summit in 2027. Prime Minister Edi Rama made the news public through a post on social media, emphasizing that the decision was made unanimously during the summit held on June 24-25 in The Hague.

"The NATO summit unanimously decided to hold it in Tirana in 2027," Rama wrote, also publishing footage from the meeting in the Netherlands.

With this decision, Albania is officially the host country of the most important meeting of the most powerful military alliance in the world, which brings together the leaders of NATO member states. The Albanian delegation in The Hague was headed by Prime Minister Rama himself.

The final statement of the summit confirmed that after next year's meeting in Turkey, it is Albania's turn to welcome world leaders. Leaders of the most important NATO countries are expected to arrive in Tirana, including US President Donald Trump.
