A 47-year-old man has died in hospital after an argument and stabbing by another 47-year-old.
The serious incident occurred in Kavaja and the causes are unclear.

On 21.02.2026, at around 14:22, in neighborhood no. 3, Kavajë, citizen RP, about 47 years old, resident of Kavajë, is suspected of having, for weak motives, attacked citizen SI, about 47 years old, with a cutting tool (knife), who consequently died in hospital.
Police services have been put in pursuit of the perpetrator and work continues to capture him.
Meanwhile, the investigative group, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, is at the scene and is working to clarify the circumstances and legally document the case.
