The trial in the CEZ-DIA case has been accompanied by clashes between ex-spouses Ilir Meta and Monika Kryemadhi.

During his statements, the former president denied any political interference or influence in the case he is accused of, saying that his ex-wife knows about his actions herself.

Meta rejected the claims about messages or communications with people mentioned in the file, describing the accusations as slander.

"There is no influence whatsoever for Adrian Shatku. Nor for anyone else. No SMS for Monika Kryemadhi, Piro Xhixho. Even an interest that could be legitimate. Not even with Theodhori Çami, who has the surname Çami, but he has slaughtered Chams. This is a story of UDB, and Adrian Shatku should have come here as soon as he heard the name, because he ate bread at my house. Adrian Shatku left in 1989, the UDB took him, then fled to America. This is a story of UDB and Greek agencies. I have no knowledge of Monika Kryemadhi's actions, she knows them herself. Mrs. Kryemadhi knows those stories of messages," Meta is reported to have said.

"Enough is not true. With the gossip that Altin Dumani brings, you are talking gossip here. Stop talking about women. Are you still dealing with the gossip about Tedi Blushi?", Monika Kryemadhi replied, continuing further.

"I've been listening to him for 4 years and I can't stand him. Even if my father is raised from the grave, I can't stand him anymore. I'll read his messages to you, so you can understand. Are you dealing with this salaryman's talk?"

Referring to the Freedom Party MP, Tedi Blushi, who was present in the hall.
