The trial in the CEZ-DIA case has been accompanied by clashes between ex-spouses Ilir Meta and Monika Kryemadhi.
During his statements, the former president denied any political interference or influence in the case he is accused of, saying that his ex-wife knows about his actions herself.
Meta rejected the claims about messages or communications with people mentioned in the file, describing the accusations as slander.
"There is no influence whatsoever for Adrian Shatku. Nor for anyone else. No SMS for Monika Kryemadhi, Piro Xhixho. Even an interest that could be legitimate. Referring to the Freedom Party MP, Tedi Blushi, who was present in the hall.
