Marjana Koçeku, known as Neomalësorja, has announced her departure from the Socialist Party, continuing her mandate as an independent MP in the Albanian Parliament.
In an announcement on social media, Koçeku writes that her ideals and values are those she expressed before associating with a party.
"From today I am an independent MP. My ideals and values are those that I have had and expressed since before I was associated with a party. They define my boundaries ," she announced on Facebook.
