Braçe asked about the trial against Veliaj: Politics should not comment

While the hearing against Tirana Mayor Erion Veliaj was being held, Socialist MP Erion Braçe also appeared at the premises of the Special Anti-Corruption Court. He was asked by journalists about the trial against Veliaj, to which he replied: We should not comment on all politicians, judicial processes or court decisions. I will continue to do the same thing I have done so far, not to comment on either prosecutors or judges. Each is in their own position and is entitled to their own rights. What I can say, which is also the reason why I have often spoken in Parliament, has to do with human freedoms and rights, the presumption of innocence, equality in the process are very important elements for democracy in this country.
