Ilir Meta gave an interview for the show "Let Me Finish" on X-Media, where he spoke about his health condition and the experiences of this period. He emphasized that he feels good physically and that he is going through this phase as a time of reflection and personal creativity.

Mr. Meta, how is your current health? It has been commented that you appeared weak in your last public appearance… do you have any specific health concerns? Are you receiving the necessary medical care while in prison?
My health has never been better than during this period.
This is explained by the disciplined life I have imposed on myself and, of course, by taking care of myself, especially in terms of diet, selected food, and continuous physical exercise.
My blood pressure, both in the morning and at lunch, before and after training, remains almost constant, 7-11.
How do you cope with stress and psychological pressure in these conditions of isolation?
Here the stress is at zero level, because I emphasized the tension parameters 7 - 11 from the beginning.
So is the psychological pressure, as in my life I have faced much more serious and dramatic situations.
I experience this period like a writer who has taken creative leave or like an athlete cramming before a big competition.
What is a typical day like for you in prison? What activities keep you busy? Do you read or write during this time? If so, what?
The day passes without me realizing it, my best friends are books since my human contacts are very limited.
Reading and writing take up the majority of my time.
Of course, I follow the news on TV about what's happening here and in the world.
In addition to airing out, I also do physical exercises and training several times a day in my cell.
Of course, I also cook and clean myself.
Cleaning is also very good for stretching.
I don't want to take away your curiosity to read my first book, where you will understand which factors made my political hostage-taking necessary, which is actually geopolitical, as it aimed and still aims to annihilate the most coherent factor for Albania's true European and Euro-Atlantic integration.
But not only that, but also as a blocker due to his duty as President of the project for the division of Kosovo that was sold by Rama and Soros as an "American" and "European" project, using the support of Soros, whose foundation had also conducted a feasibility study for the "exchange of borders" that was not the case, since the three municipalities in Northern Kosovo would never be exchanged with the three municipalities of Eastern Kosovo in Serbia (Preshevo, Bujanovac, Medvedja).
But the "exchange" was the cover to justify the mutilation of Kosovo and the seizure of its most vital natural resources.
Such a change in policy towards Kosovo had never been discussed in the US administration.
But thanks to the strong lobbying of Serbia and Soros, some American diplomats in the State Department were put into action for this destabilizing idea for our region, but also anti-American in essence, since the state of Kosovo was and remains an investment primarily of the United States.
These diplomats took advantage of the replacement of the National Security Advisor in the White House, General McMaster, with Ambassador Bolton and extracted a very evasive statement from him to trumpet as President Trump's support for the border swap.
They also used Ms. Mogherini's time as EU foreign policy chief to embrace the topic of "changing borders," which undermines the very foundations of the creation of the European Union.
But the reactions in Kosovo, Albania (except Rama), Berlin, London and Washington itself, when they realized what consequences could come, paralyzed that project that still behaves like a ghost today to reappear as an alternative tomorrow if circumstances are favorable.
Because it is clear that a geopolitical assassination occurred in Serbia in March 2003, such as that of then-Prime Minister Zoran Djindjic, the only one who had the vision and will to get Serbia out of the vicious circle of neither East nor West and who seriously wanted to integrate it into the European Union.
Since then, Serbia has only made maneuvers to receive EU funds, but to avoid real membership, because it has no will to accept the new reality that is the state of Kosovo.
Therefore, Serbia also invented the "Open Balkans" as an alternative to the Berlin Process and EU membership itself, which requires meeting certain political and rule of law criteria that dismantle autocrats while guaranteeing functional democracy and accountability.
This is also the reason why Rama became a follower of the "Open Balkans", and even pretended to be a co-author, when de facto he was only a servant of the idea projected in Belgrade.
Don't forget that the stance against changing Kosovo's borders cost the political career of the socialist Foreign Minister, Mr. Bushati, forever.
It was those American and European diplomats who supported the "Open Balkans", where Alex Soros was at every summit, who supported Edi Rama's unconstitutional seizure of the "new justice" as a necessity for him to eliminate from the political scene all his political opponents who defended national interests.
Therefore, SPAK also received directives from the SP Assembly by Edi Rama to arrest Berisha and Meta.
So I have been kidnapped like Aldo Moro once was in Italy and am being held hostage solely for geopolitical reasons.
Because if this were to serve the fight against corruption, Albania would have improved by 11 places in Transparency International's ranking over the last year and would not have deteriorated by 11 places, as the resolution of the European Parliament's Foreign Affairs Committee reiterated yesterday.
How can a politician be accused of corruption when there is no criminal fact and no act, document, or decision in violation of the law or public interest.
Likewise, when not a single penny has been seized?
While for Edi Rama, his letter alone declaring the incinerator company, which had not yet been established, the winner would be enough for the court to find him guilty.
And in this case, there is no need for an investigation or witnesses.
