Salianji and Alimehmeti start their tour of meetings with DP structures from Durrës: The goal is to revive the Democratic Party

Former DP MP Ervin Salianji and Ilir Alimehmeti have started this Wednesday from Durrës a tour of meetings that will take place with the structures of the Democratic Party.
Also present are the most voted MPs of the Durrës district, Aulon Kalaja and Ndreç Pjetri, former MPs and leaders over the years. As well as the vast majority of the leaders of the group sections.
Salianji emphasized that the purpose of this meeting is solely to revive and awaken the DP.
According to him, the DP must return to the people and to conversation after losing the May 11 elections.
"The hall is full and there are people outside. All the politicians and those from the DP should return to the people. To the coffees, to the meetings, to the conversation to make it possible for the DP to awaken, for the DP to rise again."

Media reports that a few hours before the meeting, the Durrës Democrats were asked via a phone message not to attend the Salijanj meeting. Sali Berisha called it a private meeting and had no connection to the DP.
"No activity outside the DP forums can have the slightest impact on the DP. Any activity outside the DP forums is strictly private, with no connection to the DP. The DP is a party with a statute, with institutions, with forums," said Berisha.
