Administrative Court Hearing, Veliaj: I'm not here for mercy. But my arrest

Today, the Administrative Court reviewed the lawsuit of the mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, who seeks the invalidity of the appointment of Ols Dado as prosecutor. Veliaj appeared at the hearing with Fan Noli's book in his hands, in photos obtained by the media.

It is learned that in his speech, the mayor stated that prosecutor Dado has not graduated from Magistrate's School, and yet is allowed to arrest people. He stated that the process against him is a trap.
"I am not here for mercy, or for the drama of my family. Ols Dado has not graduated from Magistrate's School, but he arrests people. The report against me was made by a man who does not exist. I am afraid that this process of mine is a trap. After Nesti Angoni's report, the case was registered after 7 months and not after 2 weeks according to the deadline. The registration of the case against me by a man who received orders", are learned to have been some of Veliaj's words in the ongoing session.

The court ultimately decided to postpone the trial to May 8.
