Veliaj shows the two important decisions of the Municipality of Tirana for the improvement of the team: "Agreement with two British and German companies for maximum transparency"
During the meeting with the young people, who will become part of the internship in the Municipality of Tirana, the mayor Erion Veliaj announced two important decisions, considering them as an opportunity to improve the team that runs the city. The first decision concerns the filtering of the procedures and the way the organization operates, while the second decision is related to the verification of all procedures, so that they are in line with EU standards.
"We have made several decisions: One decision we made this week is to partner with the most well-known good governance company in Great Britain, so that the entire Municipality of Tirana can pass through the filter all the procedures, the way it works, how decisions are made, how they are controlled, the way projects are implemented, but also the inspection of their implementation, for maximum transparency. The British company has started work since August 1 and will produce changes in procedures. The second decision is to conclude an agreement with the largest German ISO certification auditing and licensing company. The ISO 9000-9002 certificate is what verifies all the procedures, that they are of the EU standard and which institution passes this test and is equipped with the ISO certificate, of course it reflects more trust and security, but it gives access or finds opportunities to new, especially when it comes to EU funds or United Europe procedures", underlined Veliaj.
According to him, the organization becomes better when it reflects and takes steps to improve.
