Prime Minister Rama gave an interview to the Financial Times, where he spoke about the topic of the day that has now become an international topic: the protests.
"The people say I am the leader of all this. I tell them: Fuck you. I will not prove that I am not the 'godfather'. Let them prove that I am him," Rama told the Financial Times.
Rama continues by saying that saying that the Albanian economy is based on money laundering is terrible. As for Kushner's investments, he indicates that they were regular and that there was no connection to the ongoing investigation against a former landowner.
"To say that the Albanian economy is based on money laundering is terrible. Money laundering is part of our economy, but it is not such a big problem. Do you think there is no money laundering in London? Yes. But can you say that the British economy is largely money laundering? No," Rama said.
