A new study by AXA and IPSOS shows that more than 60% of people are using artificial intelligence for advice on mental health issues such as anxiety, stress and depression. However, around 45% of them say they are dissatisfied with the answers they receive from these platforms.
According to the Mind Health Report, conducted in 18 countries with around 19,000 respondents, 68% of the global population is affected by mental health problems to some degree. Among young people aged 18-24, this figure reaches 85%.
The study also highlights that many people are turning to AI as a quick and easy form of help, but experts warn that these tools do not replace professionals and may not provide accurate advice for more serious cases.
