The Ministry of Health denies reports: There is no measles outbreak in Tirana kindergartens

The Ministry of Health, through the Institute of Public Health, has officially reacted by denying news published in several media outlets, according to which a measles outbreak was reported in kindergartens and preschool institutions in Tirana.
In the public announcement, health authorities emphasize that there is no such case and call on citizens to be informed only from official sources, avoiding the spread of inaccurate information that could create unnecessary panic.
The Institute of Public Health appeals to parents to respect the national vaccination calendar and ensure timely vaccination of children, considering this as the most important measure for protecting individual and public health.
According to the authorities, vaccination remains the safest and most effective way to prevent infectious diseases, while the institution guarantees that it will continue to inform citizens in a transparent and responsible manner.
