Albanian doctor in Spain: At the beginning of April the peak is expected, we no longer have seats

After Italy, Spain is going through a difficult situation, where so far 900 coronavirus patients have died. Albanian doctor Lira Pelari, who serves at Madrid's Infectious Disease Hospital, tells News 24 that the alarm will be in place by the end of April.
Excerpts from the interview:
When will Madrid be at its peak?
From the end of March, or from the beginning of April. The alarm is here by the end of April, but hopefully by the beginning of April we will start the process.
How is the situation presented?
We have capacities in the hospital. There are 800 beds, 600 have COVID-19 beds. Hotels have been opened, hopefully not filled.
How is the condition coped with in intensive care?
We have 50-55 in intensive care but they are on the limit, no more room.
Average age hospitalized?
They are all ages, but we prayed that only those with severe symptoms would come to the hospital. Those over 60-70 are in worse condition. They generally have other diseases as well. There are 3-4 doctors in our ward with symptoms of COVID-19. Generally, they do not make the buffer for us, only when we have symptoms. There are so many people that we can't even diagnose them all.
What advice can you give?
The best advice is to stay home to save yourself and others. The buffer is good to do at first, as Korea has done, that we can all have it now, and it is up to all home doctors to leave. It must be done first to catch the virus. In Spain it is already impossible.
