The humanitarian initiative of the Albanian who has a bakery in Rome touches the hearts of Italians

Edmond Prenga is an Albanian living in Rome and is donating bread to Italian citizens in need. Italian media Trieste Salario has published an article about him that starts like this:
It is the boy from that Albania of Prime Minister Edi Rama who sent a team of 30 doctors and nurses to our country to help us in the fight against coronavirus.
Edmond, 39, owns a bakery called Bon Pan, which puts bread in a bag near the oven and with a sign reading: If you need it, it's you !, as he puts it, embarrassed those who want bread but can't ask.

Asked about this humane gesture, he says:
I have tried hunger. When I arrived in Italy in 1998 I had no pennies. I know these problems well. Italy fed me. So I decided that what I really needed to do was learn how to do it right.
22 years ago, he says that Italy fed and received him well and now he wants to return the help:
We grew up with the myth of Italy when we were kids. We dreamed of coming here one day. The relationship of us Albanians with you Italians is strong. Today, Albania is recovering, but it has not always been so. I think that Edi Rama made a gesture that showed the great heart of Albanians for Italians.
Following the initiative of Edmond Prenga, other businesses that continue to operate such as bakeries are doing the same. His business, Bon Pan, also provides home delivery services. For Albanians in need, call 0645422232.
Italy counts 124,632 infected, 15,362 victims, 76,964 recovered, 295 in critical condition.
