Albanian pedagogy at Harvard: Good news for anti-coronavirus treatment

Albanian pedagogue at Harvard, Detina Zalli, posted good news on social networks. It shows that a group of Oxford scientists have found that the vaccine they have developed against coronavirus has given positive effects to rhesus monkeys infected with the new virus, which are 93% genetically similar to humans.

She writes:

Good news from the Oxford Group

• The Oxford group vaccine works in rhesus monkeys that are 93% genetically identical to humans.

• Animals given the vaccine, which were then exposed to SARS-CoV-2, had fewer viruses in their lungs and airways. This was compared with the monkey control group who were not given the vaccine.

• Clinical trials were conducted in the United States, including researchers from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and the University of Oxford.

Detina Zalli is a scientist in the field of Molecular Biology. She completed her studies in 2014 at Harvard University and then became a postdoctoral fellow and lecturer at Prestige University.
