Johnny Milloshi lives in Mainz, Germany. She holds a PhD in political science, while her family is based in Italy, where Gionila grew up. After sending doctors and nurses to help their Italian colleagues, her philosophy professor made a surprise phone call to her former student to thank her for the Albanian gesture.

Now Xhonila says that together with the professor, her Italian and German friends are showing more added interest in Albania. She has expressed her willingness to contribute to a tourism initiative, offering her advice and 'advertising' Albanian cities to visit during the holidays. This would help the economy of Albanian families affected by the coronavirus crisis.

Interview with Ilva Taren as follows:

Ilva Tare: An interesting phone call came from your professor, what is the story?

After the gesture of Albania and the statement made by Prime Minister Rama became public, this had a positive impact not only on the Italian media and politics, but also on the public opinion. And that was reflected in me personally. That day my phone rang with messages of thanks from friends, and in a way I was certainly overjoyed. But the thing that made me even happier and surprised me was the phone calls I received from my philosophy professor I had in high school.

I didn't expect it, he had even done his research to find my phone number and was very eager to thank me for the gesture that Albanians had made and especially the doctors who had expressed their willingness to help Italy in this critical situation.

Plus the message of gratitude has somehow ignited the idea of getting to know Albania better, and they now ask me much more often how they are, the towns, the places to visit in Albania, more specific questions about Albania.

Ilva Tare: Do they want the guide ready? You're about to start the journey on the path to success. You have colleagues, other friends from Italy who want to come maybe.

I will definitely make it more fun and I am ready. Even those who start the conversation, I will be ready with those tips on what cities and where to go during the permanence in Albania. It would be a very good thing and in this case it makes me think that they will really do it, because I have seen a stronger curiosity than in previous years and plus the fact that we are very close it just separates us from a sea and I believe it will. It happened, especially after the fact that in these times the long trips will be a bit more limited, I hope that the Italians will gather and spend their holidays in Albania.

Ilva Tare: How is the situation in Germany, with the number of infected people has crossed China, are the rules of quarantine being respected or are they too strict? What is happening to the number of infected?

Following the situation in Italy in great detail that my family is there I was actually expecting a different reaction from Germany and the German state, to take stricter measures that they had more information from Italy, This did not happen, the measures have started from the middle of March and things have closed very gradually. Here you are free to go out, but the Germans tend to follow the rules. They are very careful on the road, they leave, they are more careful

Ilva Tare: Germans are Germans, but how do you explain the low number of victims, is it explained by the health system, the family doctor?

Here, too, there are many different theses, some of which even speak of conspiracies, of concealment of data. but some analysts say the baby peak will arrive after two to three weeks here in Germany.
