Greek government reacts to fine of two Albanian emigrants: No punishment for

The Greek government has instructed the Greek authorities at the border not to fine any Albanians whose term of residence in the Schengen area expires and this decision is in force from 31 March.

The Greek government reacted after the case of the fine of two Albanians who had passed the deadline, but by order of the government this deadline is postponed for up to a month due to the impossibility of returning to the conditions of the coronavirus crisis.

At the Kapshtica Customs, it is learned that there are currently 2 immigrants, some of whom have returned to Greece where they are residents, while 10 others who crossed the border on foot have been fined.
