Godfathers from Cambridge: Let's modernize the testing system in education

Following a week dedicated to international projects, the Minister of Education, Mirela Kumbaro, conducted a working visit to the University of Cambridge, as part of the reform to modernize the testing and assessment system in Albania, through the creation of the Educational Services Agency.
This collaboration with the University of Cambridge aims to build a new, transparent and reliable system, in line with the best international standards.
"A week ago, we approved in the Government the law for the creation of the National Agency for Educational Services. It is about reforming one of the very important institutions of the Ministry of Education that today offers national and international testing systems and exams for regulated professions such as the profession of teacher, psychologist, nurse, physiotherapist and all of them. It is very important that in the context of the creation of this new agency, with new platforms and new digital systems, we have the highest possible standards, alongside our partners in Europe", said Minister Kumbaro.
The reform is being supported by the expertise of the University of Cambridge and the partnership with the Albanian-American Development Foundation, contributing to the building of a modern system.
