High school graduates take their final exam today, elective subject

High school graduates across the country are wrapping up their State Matura journey today with the final exam, the Elective Subject exam. Around 27,000 students are expected to begin testing at 10:00 AM and finish at 12:30 PM.
The choice of subject is made earlier by each student, based on their interests and further orientation: from Natural Sciences such as Chemistry, Physics, Biology; to Social Sciences such as History, Geography, Civics, Psychology, Philosophy, Sociology; or subjects in the Economic and Artistic fields such as Economics, History of Art, Music or Ballet.
Clear and mandatory rules apply to the exam: every high school graduate must have an identification document (ID card or passport), electronic devices such as phones or smartwatches are not allowed, and answers must be given only with a single-color pen.
