Archbishop's message before Easter: Albania needs people who love it not only with words

On the eve of Catholic Easter, the Metropolitan Archbishop of Tirana-Durrës, Arjan Dodaj, has conveyed a significant message to believers, inviting them to reflect and not lose faith in the face of challenges.
From St. Paul's Cathedral in the capital, he emphasized that change should not be expected from the outside, but starts from each of us. According to him, hope and faith are the keys to facing any difficulty.
"Change is possible and it starts from the human heart," said Dodaj, underlining the importance of personal responsibility.
In his speech, he also touched on the wounds that affect Albanian society, such as emigration and indifference, emphasizing that the future of the country cannot rely on others. Albania, according to him, must be built by Albanians themselves, with more dedication and love for each other.
His appeal was also directed at politics and institutions, demanding more honesty and responsibility in the country's leadership. He emphasized that Albania needs honest people, who love the country not only with words, but with concrete actions and personal example.
"Albania needs honest men and women who love this land and its people not with words, but with lives lived here, it needs responsive consciences that do not accept corruption, injustice, and marginalization as something normal."
"This is a wish for everyone and even more so for those who hold political, economic and social responsibilities to see the future of the country with foresight and responsibility," he emphasized.
