Baby formula milk has dangerous ingredients. AKU withdraws it from the market

The National Food Authority (AKU) has announced the blocking and withdrawal from the market of several infant formula products, following an alert received from the European Rapid Alert System for Food and Feed (RASFF).

According to the announcement, Albania has been informed by RASFF that following controls carried out by Italian authorities, the presence of the substance Cereulide has been found in infant formula originating from the Netherlands, which poses a potential risk to human health.

The identified products are:

BEBA PRE 800G – Lot no. 51720346AA, expiry 06.2027

BEBA PRE 800G – Lot no. 51660346AC, expiry 06.2027

BABY 1 800G – Lot no. 51180346AB, expiry 04.2027

BABY 1 800G – Lot no. 51450346AA, expiry 05.2027

BABY 1 800G – Lot no. 51660346AB, expiry 06.2027

BEBA SUPREME PRE 800G – Lot no. 51720742F3, expiration date 06.2027

BEBA SUPREME 2 800G – Lot no. 51550742F1, expiry 06.2027

BEBA SUPREME 2 800G – Lot no. 51550742F2, expiry 06.2027

The NFA informs that, after conducting checks and fully following traceability, the quantity of the product has been blocked and will be destroyed.

The Authority calls on consumers who have purchased this product and are still in use to immediately return it to the point of sale, avoiding its use.
