Jannik Sinner wins Wimbledon, defeats Spaniard Alcaraz in final

Jannik Sinner further cements his place in Italian tennis history by becoming the first Italian player to win the Wimbledon title.
The world number one did so in style, defeating Carlos Alcaraz in four sets with a score of 4-6, 6-4, 6-4, 6-4 in three hours and four minutes of play.
After leading 4-2 in the first set, Sinner let a four-game streak slip that allowed Alcaraz to win the first set. From that point on, the Italian never lost his serve, winning the match and also exorcising the ghosts of Paris.
Unlike what happened at Roland Garros, with the score 5-4 in the fourth set, Sinner held serve to win the fourth Grand Slam title of his career, his first "European" title after his two triumphs in Australia and last year's title in New York.
