Liverpool player Diogo Jota dies in car accident in Zamora. The 28-year-old Portuguese Liverpool player died early this morning in a traffic accident along with his 26-year-old brother.
Jota was reportedly travelling in a car with his brother Andre, who is also a footballer, when the vehicle skidded off the road. The incident happened on the A-52 motorway in the province of Zamora. The tragic news comes just two weeks after Jota married his long-time girlfriend, Rute Cardoso, in Porto.
