SPAK demands Balluk's arrest, PS presents Mandates Council report today

The issue of Belind Balluku's immunity has dominated the political debate in the country for about three months, often becoming the main topic of tense plenary sessions.

Today, at the meeting of the Socialist Party parliamentary group starting at 10:00, the report prepared by the Mandates Council regarding the SPAK request is expected to be presented. This request, filed on December 16, concerns the lifting of parliamentary immunity and subsequent arrest of Balluk.

Prime Minister Edi Rama is also expected to deliver a speech at this meeting.

Meanwhile, the relevant reports are expected to be voted on in the Assembly at the plenary session on March 12. On the same day, the Democratic Party has also announced the holding of a protest.
