A serious incident has shaken Fier, following the arrest of 26-year-old Emanilda Rama for the murder of her father, Anesti Rama. Investigations reveal a dark history of violence and abuse within the family, which had been going on in silence for years.
According to the Police, the girl used a wire to strangle her father, while the victim's wife, Valbona Rama, not only knew about everything, but is suspected of helping the girl after the crime by trying to hide the traces and present the event as an accident. She was arrested a day later for "actions that hinder the discovery of the truth."
Anesti Rama, 56, was a worker on a livestock farm in the area and, according to witnesses, often showed up at work with signs of violence on his face. He always justified himself with “work incidents”, never revealing the truth. Sources from the investigation indicate that he was isolated and had been living in a room outside the house for a long time, after being excluded from his wife and daughter.
The mother and daughter are accused of complicity in murder and attempting to manipulate the scene of the crime. According to the investigation, after the crime, they cleaned up the body and attempted to present the death as an accident.
A hearing is expected to be held today to determine security measures for both.
