Cloud Fest is coming to REJA – Discover the program of the 9th edition

Cloud Festival, or as it is also known, the Cloud Festival, is already a tradition – a unique festival in the heart of Tirana, which combines "tradition with the contemporary" like no other event since its first edition, in 2017. The 9th edition, like the previous ones, comes for 11 consecutive nights, from May 21 to May 31, with a rich, colorful and intercultural program. Where the space inside and around the REJA installation is transformed into an artistic auditorium – a free cultural experience, for the local public and foreign visitors of all age groups. Over 100 national and international artists will come together to create an unforgettable experience for the public.
What awaits us this year?
The festival kicks off on May 21st with the contemporary dance performance "A Thousand Suns" by Oktawia Ścibior & Samory Ba (France), followed by the sounds of traditional Azerbaijani music - Mugham, coming to Tirana for the first time, brought by the well-known ensemble Mansum Ibrahimov and Ensemble Garabagh.
Over the next few days, the program explores everything from the best of traditional Albanian music – from north to south, including the Shkodran aheng, labe polyphony, Krutan music with the Elders of Kruja – to ethno-jazz, psychedelic blues and rebetiko, the tradition of Greek music. All combined with contemporary dance, workshops, visual performances and painting. Artists from Azerbaijan, Canada, France, Macedonia, Germany, Sweden, Italy, Austria, Mexico and Greece will bring a piece of their creativity to the New spaces.

Inclusion, diversity and creativity
Cloud Fest's mission is to educate and share experiences, involving the public in creative processes and providing opportunities for entertainment and educational activities. From on-stage skating workshops to paintings with interactive messages for the public.
One of the most inclusive events this year is “Cloud's Rainbow – Pre Parade” on May 24, an activity dedicated to the LGBTQ+ community and the culture of diversity.
Cloud Fest is more than a festival – it is a manifestation of urban life, a shared celebration where art and people come together to inspire each other and celebrate different cultures and artistic genres.
Like every year: Free admission!
REJA is the place and Cloud Fest is the party you need to be at every evening, from May 21st to 31st.
