Artificial intelligence enters money management, what does ChatGPT's new

OpenAI has introduced a new feature to ChatGPT that aims to help users better manage personal finances, giving them the ability to connect their bank and financial accounts to the platform.

According to the published information, the system uses Plaid platform technology to integrate with more than 12,000 financial institutions around the world. Through this connection, ChatGPT can analyze data related to users' monthly expenses, savings, investments and financial goals, with the aim of offering more personalized suggestions.

Users can view information on their payments, net worth, and spending in a dedicated dashboard. Artificial intelligence can also help create personal budgets, savings plans, and investment analysis.

OpenAI emphasizes that the system does not conduct financial transactions and does not have access to users' full bank account numbers. Currently, the feature is reportedly available initially to Pro subscribers, with an expansion to Plus users expected later.

However, the introduction of this option has also sparked debates over security and privacy. Cybersecurity experts warn that linking banking data to artificial intelligence systems could create new risks, especially at a time when technology continues to develop and protecting personal information remains a sensitive challenge.
