The new smartphone promoted by the Trump Organization, known as the “Trump Mobile” or “the president’s phone,” is neither American, nor new, nor worth the price tag. International media have revealed that the phone is actually a Chinese model – the REVVL 7 Pro 5G – manufactured by Wingtech, a company known for producing cheap devices and collaborating with brands like Xiaomi and Oppo.
This phone sells on Amazon for just 177 euros, while the version branded with Trump's logo and name, sold by his family's company, costs a whopping $499 - a price increase of nearly 180%.
Ironically, the phone, although sold with an American flag on the packaging, has nothing to do with American manufacturing. It is simply a rebranded device that takes advantage of the Trump name to sell an ordinary product at a higher price.
