On April 22-25, the “Agriculture Days” Fair was held in Lushnje for the fourth consecutive year, where once again Vodafone Albania, through Vodafone Business, was the main partner. This fair, which brings together government institutions, large domestic and foreign companies and key stakeholders in the agricultural sector, focused this year again mainly on exports of Albanian agricultural products, sustainable agriculture, increasing the standards of agribusinesses and other sectors involved, as well as on the application of technology and digitalization in the agricultural sector.
The official ceremony was attended by Anila Denaj, Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Belinda Balluku, Minister of Energy and Infrastructure, the Mayor of Lushnje, Eriselda Sefaj and representatives of the largest companies in the country. Also present at this important event for Albanian agriculture was Jonida Lakuriqi, Director of Legal Affairs, Public Policy and Foreign Affairs, who emphasized that: “The digitalization of agriculture is no longer a luxury for developed countries, but a necessity to guarantee an efficient and sustainable agricultural sector in Albania as well. Through innovative technologies such as IoT, Vodafone Business supports the transformation of this vital sector.”
