Episode of ZëmeMirënPodcast with Antoneta Ndrekë e Lufra

A few years ago, I heard by chance that behind the success of the bottle of yogurt we bought at home, Lufra, was a woman.
I like stories about women who know how to take an idea forward and who don't give up.

Like Antoneta from Lufra, who went from being a village mom to finding herself in business, waking up at 3am for 15 years straight.

She was only 25 when she started it with Ben, her husband. A friend gave them the idea. Ben had the flair, but Antoneta had the strength and resilience.
They never gave up, until they found themselves becoming bigger than their idea itself. In short, they never imagined they would rise so high.

Now things have changed since the 90s.

There are also two sons in the company, Luis and Franci. That's where you understand where the name "Lufra" comes from.

It is an Albanian story, with all its sides. With cows and farmers. With negotiations (in those beginnings) with three words in English, but with a lot of instinct. In the end, instinct, as we have said, takes every school.
