Episode of ZëmeMirënPodcast with Armina Mevlani

In this episode, I spoke with Armina Mevlani. I invited her to talk about Armina — beyond the public image we've known for years.

I wanted to understand more closely what stage she is in today: between fame, a well-known family in politics, the business world, influence on social networks... and, as I told her at the beginning of the podcast, to share the "invisible weights" of a public life.

The impetus for this episode came to me a few weeks ago, when I saw how the network "caught fire" over a very human issue — a few extra pounds. Various, harsh reactions, as if to remind me that every fluctuation of a woman's body in public is automatically a public issue.

Armina is not a difficult person, neither in communication nor in conversations in front of the camera. She probably knows that sincerity is her strongest weapon and uses it.

We talked about the other side of the coin of a life that seems full of brilliance from the outside, but that — as Armina herself says — "when you grow up, nothing is the field of flowers it seems when you're 20."

She spoke openly about her pain, but equally openly about her awareness of how lucky she is. When I asked her who the most important person in her life was, I got an answer that I particularly liked.

For me, this is an honest episode. The rest… judge for yourself.
