
The prima ballerina of TKOB, Sekine Sharofi, has passed away at the age of 85.
The news of her loss was announced by her daughters, Mirela and Edlira Athanas, with a heartfelt post on social networks.
"My mother's heart stopped beating. That beating heart full of energy and love! I dedicated this video to her on her birthday in 2017, just before her long illness began. I have no words for the pain I feel. But her life, her spirit, her passion, the way she created art, raised a family, gave love gives me strength at this moment. I love you to infinity my dear mom. You are a light and a star that cannot be extinguished. Rest in peace!", writes Mirela.

With a rich gallery of leading roles, the TKOB prima ballerina will be remembered for performances such as: "Laurencia" by Alexander Krein, "Zhurale" by Farid Jarulin, "Before the storm" by Česk Zadeja, "Cuca e Maleve" by Nikolla Zoraqi, "Halili and Hajria" by Tish Daija, etc.
