Zahara Jolie has filed legal documents to officially drop the "Pitt" surname from her name, becoming the third child of the former celebrity couple to take this step.
The decision comes after similar actions by her siblings, Maddox Jolie and Shiloh Jolie, who have also chosen to no longer use their father's surname following the sensational split and long-running conflicts between Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt.
The 21-year-old had long since begun to publicly introduce herself as Zahara Jolie. At her graduation ceremony at Spelman College, she was introduced only by her last name Jolie, without including "Pitt," signaling the change that is now being made legal.
