The Transparency Board publishes new fuel prices, how much diesel and gasoline will be sold for

The Transparency Board, at its meeting this Wednesday, decided that the retail price of the SSH EN 590 standard diesel by-product should be no more than 188 lek/liter, while the wholesale price should be no more than 176 lek/liter.
It was also decided that the retail price of the SSH EN standard gasoline by-product will be no more than 171 lek/liter, while the wholesale price will be no more than 159 lek/liter.
The new prices set by the Board will come into effect today at 2:00 PM and will be valid until the next board meeting where the sales price changes will be made.
"We draw the attention of every operator of wholesale and retail sales of petroleum by-products to the obligation to implement this decision. In case of violations found by various operators, the suspension of activity will be decided."
"The Ministry of Economy and Innovation, together with the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy, are committed to protecting the interests of Albanian consumers and preserving the principles of fair competition in the market," the announcement further states.
