Bomb alert near the US Embassy in Tirana, a suspicious object was left on the street

An alarm about the presence of a suspected explosive device near the Embassy of the United States of America mobilized police forces this Saturday morning. State Police officers immediately arrived at the scene, surrounded the perimeter and blocked vehicle traffic in the segment where the suspicious object was reported.
Engineer specialists and anti-explosive experts are also on the ground, conducting relevant verifications to determine the nature of the object and the level of risk.
