Dritan Dajti, convicted for the murder of 4 police officers was sent to Mother Teresa Hospital as a matter of urgency. It is not known what happened to him, but according to the media, he became infected with Covid, which brought him health concerns. He was escorted under strict security measures while the hospital was surrounded by police.

Dritan Dajti was sentenced to life imprisonment by the Court of First Instance on the charge of murder in qualifying circumstances of police officers Fatos Xhani, Sajmir Duçkollari, Altin Dizdari and Kastrit Feskaj, during a police operation to capture him in 2009.
