Dutch artist Joost Klein will not take part in this year's Eurovision Grand Final.
Swedish police investigated a complaint from a female member of the production team following an incident following his performance in Thursday night's semi-final. While the legal process continues, it would not be appropriate for him to continue competing.
We would like to clarify that, contrary to some media reports and speculations on social networks, no artist or other team member was involved in this incident.
We have zero tolerance for inappropriate behavior and are committed to providing a safe working environment for all staff. In this light, Joost Klein's behavior towards a team member is considered to be in violation of the competition rules.
