Linda Karçanaj talks about Ergys Agas: There is news that leaves a mark

Former head of AKSHI, Mirlinda Karçanaj, has hinted that the publication of parts of the SPAK file in the media has brought serious consequences to her family life. Invited to the Top Story show, she did not speak directly, but the emotions, trembling voice and tears in the studio made the message clear.

"Stamps can even be fatal for a family," said Karçanaj, while commenting on the videos published by Ergys Agas's office, insisting that they are taken out of context and prove nothing.

She explained that her acquaintance with Agas dates back to the time when he was a public administration official and that the relationship between them was institutional and correct.

"I have known Ergys Agas during the time he held positions in the administration. The relationship has been correct, as with any other official. At work, contacts are inevitable, but this does not mean criminal liability," said the former director of the AKSHI.

During the interview, Karçanaj repeated several times that responsibility is individual and that it is up to SPAK to prove whether there were violations or favoritism within the institution.

She emphasized that her management at the NAIS has been oriented towards law enforcement, while distancing herself from tender procedures, explaining that she had delegated administrative powers to staff.

"I am an IT engineer and my focus has been technological development. For administrative procedures and procurement, the rules have been followed by the responsible structures," she stated.
