Edi Rama reacts after the passage of IBAR: They said that the negotiations were blocked, they said that Albania was punished

Prime Minister Edi Rama reacted this Friday after the passage of the "IBAR" process the day before, describing the development as another victory for Albania on the path towards European integration.
In a post on social media, Rama responded to the government's critics, stating that predictions about the blocking of negotiations and the punishment of Albania by the European Union turned out to be untrue.
"They said the negotiations were blocked. They said Albania was punished. They said Europe woke up and the narco-regime was exposed," the head of government wrote, as he accused political opponents of trying to damage the country's image inside and outside Albania.
Rama emphasized that on May 26, in Brussels, the Albania-EU Intergovernmental Conference will successfully seal the introductory phase and open the final phase of the membership negotiations.
According to him, the European integration process is moving forward thanks to "vision, work and dedication", while he described European Albania as "a success story".
The Prime Minister expressed gratitude to the Albanian institutions, the negotiating team and the citizens who support the integration process, considering this moment as "another day of pride for Albania".
The "IBAR" process, linked to the assessment of progress in the rule of law and key reforms for European integration, is considered an important step in advancing Albania's accession negotiations with the European Union.
Status of Prime Minister Edi Rama:
GOOD MORNING
They said the negotiations were blocked. They said Albania was punished. They said Europe woke up and the drug regime was exposed. They were unleashed on the streets with Molotov cocktails, to burn Albania in the eyes of foreigners. They were unleashed across Europe with bags of mud and slush, to smear Albania in the eyes of foreigners. They were deceived as always by their own minds and they were also deceived by the increasingly fewer who go with that mind. They lost again. And Albania won again. On May 26 in Brussels, the Albania - EU Intergovernmental Conference successfully seals the introductory phase and opens the concluding phase of the membership negotiations. Because unlike how those who always lose in the end talk about it day and night, the European Albania that we are building is a success story, which is written with vision, work and dedication, step by step, and in the end always wins. This is another day of pride for Albania, for our great team, for all its departments in every part of the field of public responsibilities, for the parliamentary majority, for the government, for the independent institutions, and of course for those who represent them at the negotiating table for Albania 2030 in the EU. Congratulations to everyone and above all, thank you to every Albanian who trusts us and supports us on the path of this historic mission.
