Chief Negotiator for skeptical EU accession countries: It is difficult to say that these people like me and these others do not

Albania's chief negotiator with the EU, Zef Mazi, stated that it is difficult to say with which country the integration negotiations have been more difficult. In an interview with News 24, in Real Story, he said that the EU decided to open negotiations for Albania and Northern Macedonia, and according to him, the fate of both countries is linked. There is no date for the first intergovernmental conference, as Josef Borrel stated at the conference in Brussels, and chief negotiator Mazo says the best thing is to get the job done as well as possible: For the voices of a skeptic to come down. This is our task. They need to be convinced that this country is moving. A presidency of the union must take into account the balances between the 27 countries and consensus is difficult!
Mazi adds that so far in the countries I have been in I have not encountered insurmountable difficulties although it is known that the Netherlands is one of the most skeptical countries: Preferences related to claims, judgments still dominate. The story of organized crime mentioned by an X newspaper turns out to be inaccurate. I think that the countries of the European Union will solve the problems and open the way for us.
Zef Mazi:
Preferences related to claims, judgments still dominate. The story of organized crime mentioned by an X newspaper turns out to be inaccurate. I think that the countries of the European Union will solve the problems and open the way for us. It's hard to say, these look good on me, these others don't. The years when it was approved by the Union to open negotiations, there were two positions, one was to negotiate equally with both countries and the other was to make Northern Macedonia a little more privileged. Today we are on the same track, I say there will be a common language. It is true that there is a resolution in the Bulgarian parliament, but on the basis of merit Albania was declared to have met the requirements. We have been together and will continue to be together again. The fate of the two countries is tied together.
