Former Minister of Education Lindita Nikolla and Ligor Nikolla, lecturer in mathematics at the Polytechnic, met 35 years ago. From Albanian Sunday to Ardit Gjebrea they have told the story that they met, fell in love and crowned their relationship. Ligor Nikolla: In August we turn 35 years old. At the time Lindita was a math student in her sophomore year while I was doing my doctoral studies in France. Lindita had my granddaughter in a class, they were friends, so she knew my whole family, except me, especially my living mother I knew and my mother liked her very much.
Lindita Nikolla: I often went to Ardi because they had a very nice private house, but also a lot of flowers that Ligor's mother took care of, but also a good cherry and often with Ligor's granddaughter, my friend and I also went there for flowers, but even the sweet cherries of the house. To be honest, when he told me that I have an uncle with studies abroad, I thought that the uncle must have been a great man in age, from these scientists who are given after studies and I thought a seasoned bachelor as they were called in that time and quite by chance I learned that the uncle was no more than 28 years old at the time and was the son who was born late and who was different from his brother.

Lindita Nikolla: I was 21 years old.
Ardit Gjebrea: What was your first real meeting?
Ligor Nikolla: My mother told me Marjana has a very good friend, look a little. I only stayed 1 month during the summer.
Lindita Nikolla : In the second year of Ligor's studies we met and then we got engaged. He came very little and I definitely started to understand and I definitely felt, but I remember my father's message as I confided with him that I knew a boy and family, he told me definitely my father's trust but beware that maybe it's France to has turned his attention to this boy, but the truth was quite different.
