Rama reacts to the tragic accident in which two children lost their lives

Prime Minister Edi Rama reacted on the "X" platform after the tragic accident in Durrës, where two minor children lost their lives.
Rama also made a call to the media, saying that the publication of images from the accident does not inform but is increasing the pain of the families.
Full reaction:
We have just landed in Yerevan, Armenia for the European Political Community and I have learned of the inconsolable tragedy of the loss of two children, while the third child is fighting for life under the care of doctors. May God bless the two little souls, give the parents the extraordinary strength to survive the great pain, while I join in prayers for the recovery of the child in the hospital.
While the entire country is grieving over this event and justice does its job with the perpetrator, it is the duty of everyone, especially the media and portals, to show restraint, sensitivity, and responsibility.
Publishing or distributing harsh images does not inform, but only increases the pain of those facing an irreversible loss and sanitizes the world of information.
Respect for human dignity and the pain of those directly affected must be above any sensation or click. Let us show solidarity, humanity and humanity on a tragic day like this.
We recall that four children were playing on the sidewalk at the moment when the “Benz ML” vehicle driven by Nikoll Radaçi, hit three minors, while a fourth miraculously escaped the accident. Two children died immediately at the scene, while the third child was transported to the Trauma Hospital, where he is in serious condition. It is suspected that the 57-year-old driver of the “Benz ML” vehicle was drunk at the wheel.
