The Mayor of Ura Vajgurore, Juliana Memaj, welcomed the decision taken today by the Albanian Parliament to change the name of the municipality to Dimal. In a post on the social network Facebook, she thanked MP Klosi who supported this initiative
"We made it! Parliament formalized the naming of Dimal Municipality! Thanks to the support of MP Klosi, today begins a new chapter for our municipality, which will be followed by a series of initiatives that will give due attention to the tourist and economic potential of the area. Thank you to the citizens who became part of the public consultations and the members of the Municipal Council for supporting this historic decision " , said Memaj.
The official name of Dimal Municipality will be made 15 days after its publication in the Official Gazette. For this process, several public consultations were held in the administrative units of Ura Vajgurore, Kutalli, Cukalat and Poshnje, meetings with cultural heritage experts and a vote was held in the Municipal Council.
