New United States passports are expected to include the image and signature of President Donald Trump, as part of a special edition for the 250th anniversary of independence.
According to a State Department official, these passports will be issued to a limited number of applicants who renew the document in person, while other forms will retain the current design.
In the new design, Trump's face and signature will appear in gold on the inside of the cover. This is considered one of the most significant uses of his image in the context of national celebrations, international media report.
