There was humor from King Charles III during his visit to Washington, where in his speech at a state dinner hosted by Donald Trump, he teased the US President with a joke about the US's colonial past.
"Indeed, you recently commented, Mr. President, that if it weren't for the United States, European countries would speak German," the King said.
"I dare say that, if it weren't for us, you would probably speak French...!" he added humorously.
He then added, "of course, we both love our French cousins very much."
