Tanner Horner, 34, has been sentenced to death for the kidnapping and murder of 7-year-old Athena Strand, a crime that occurred in November 2022 in Texas, which caused strong reactions nationwide.
According to the investigation, the man, who was a courier at the time, was delivering packages when he approached the little girl's apartment, carrying a box of toys that had been ordered for the holidays. At that moment, he picked up the child and put her in his vehicle.
